Pollinator’s Corridor
A Sanctuary for Butterflies and Pollinators at Miami Ironside
Miami Ironside is proud to be home to five captivating species of butterflies: the Atala Butterfly, the Zebra Longwing(Florida’s state butterfly), the Monarch Butterfly, the Gulf Fritillary, and the Giant Swallowtail.
Through thoughtful planning, sustainable landscaping, and eco-conscious gardening practices, Miami Ironside has been officially recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. Our green spaces include a half-mile biological corridor designed to support pollinators and wildlife. This vibrant habitat not only sustains our butterfly population but also contributes to reforestation by nurturing the trees and plants essential for their growth and survival.
At Ironside, nature and community coexist in harmony, creating an urban oasis that inspires sustainability and celebrates biodiversity.
